Module 1 of the Story-Informed Trauma Therapy Core Training. This module covers the Introduction to the model and Stages 1 & 2, allowing a therapist to have a strong start with a new client.
Story-Informed Trauma Therapy (SITT) is a structured, directive, phase-oriented therapy that utilizes the client's chronological life story to inform, process, and resolve past childhood trauma and challenge the associated dysfunctional learning.
SITT uses a directive nine-stage process that enables the practitioner to bring a client from presentation all the way through to the point where therapy is no longer necessary
This is the comprehensive training necessary to equip SITT Therapists and Trauma Mentors. The full Core Training includes three modules.
